He was the captain of the 1950 cross country team and the 1951 track team. He competed in the half-mile, mile, and two-mile runs. He won the Middle Atlantic Conference half-mile title in 1951, finishing six seconds below his previous best time. Against Delaware, he competed also in the 220-yard low hurdles, earning a point, which gave Franklin and Marshall a one-point 63 ½ - 62 ½ win. He is executive vice president of Dixon Bros., fuel dealers, in Boonton.
