Vincent came to Franklin and Marshall from Valley Cottage, N.Y. At 6' 2'' and 240 pounds, he had the ideal physical makeup to be an outstanding collegiate lineman. A four-year letterwinner at offensive tackle, Vinnie started his last three years as the Diplomats dominated their MAC opponents. Able to bench press more than 450 pounds, he was one of the reasons his teammate Rob Shepardson proved to be successful. Vincent was named to the MAC All Conference team in both 1981 and 1982 and earned ECAC honors in 1982. The highest honor a Division III athlete can achieve is to be named All-American. He was named a Kodak first team Division II/III All-American in 1981 and 1982. Following graduation, Vincent signed a professional contract to play football with the Baltimore Colts. Graduating from F&M in 1983 with a major in business, Vin is currently living in Sunrise, FL, where he is the co-owner of the A-1 Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Service.
