Stan Mousetis was considered a standout technical wrestler. He compiled a duel meet record of 25-1-0--a career that included 14 pins and 22 consecutive wins. He won the 128-pound Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association title in 1948 and placed third in his senior year. On three occasions, he won Middle Atlantic AAU championships. He also participated in cross country and track at F&M. He earned his bachelor's degree as a history major. Wrestling has continued to be a part of his life. He is one of the most successful wrestling coaches in Pennsylvania, having led Plum High School in the Pittsburgh area to around 250 duel meet wins. He has coached several conference, sectional, and regional champions, and has been named "Coach of the Year" in Washington County. Stan, and his wife, Alice, shared a proud day in May 1980, when their son, John, graduated from F&M.
