Joe Coviello quarterbacked the Franklin and Marshall College football team for four years between 1973 and 1976. During that period, F&M was the dominant force in the Middle Atlantic Conference winning 32 games and losing but 4. Individually, Joe was credited with many school and conference records. The most important career records are listed here: total offense, 5868 yards; pass attempts, 591; pass completions, 334; touchdown passes, 52. Coviello was team MVP twice, conference MVP twice, All ECAC in 1976 and Honorable Mention All American in 1974. A member of Chi Phi fraternity, Joe also was a catcher on the baseball team for one season. He currently is working in New York City for the MacMillan Publishing Company.
