Dickinson comes in at No. 16 with Haverford following at 24th. Prior to Johns Hopkins' run, Dickinson was the top team from 2000-07, while Haverford (3), McDaniel (1) and Gettysburg (1) have also captured team titles in the Conference's 23-year history.
The Diplomats have performed well in several events this fall and aim to improve on an eighth-place showing at the 2016 CC Championships. This year, F&M has taken the team title at both the Battle for the Buggy on Oct. 7 (1st out of five teams) and the finished third at the Hood College Open on Oct. 14 (out of 11 teams).
A Look at the Individuals
Grace Adams and Emma Frazier look to set the pace for F&M. Adams led at the Paul Short Invite, finished 92nd with a time of 24:38. Frazier led the Diplomats at the Battle of the Buggy with a second-place finish (25:11).
Felicia Koerner (Johns Hopkins) returns as last year's Individual Championship to pace a stacked field of runners.
Muhlenberg's Jamie Pacilio and Haverford's Katie Sullivan also return as former All-CC First Team selections.
Following the Conference Championships, the Diplomats close out the year with the NCAA Mid-East Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11:00 a.m. The event is being hosted by Big Spring HS-Newville.
