LANCASTER, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall women's cross country team opens the 2015 season on Friday, Sept. 11 at the Little Three Meet hosted by Gettysburg. Despite adding only one new face for the upcoming season, the Diplomats suffered few losses to graduation and are set to have a strong presence within regional competition.

Graduating only Kim Hilfrank, team captain and No. 3 runner in 2014, this year's squad returns most of the top contributors from last season. To replace the one key departure, the Diplomats are bringing in just a single new member, freshman Amelia Cadwell, who is expected to make an immediate contribution.
Julia Zielinski – Sr.
Grace Adams – So.
Kathleen McCutcheon – So.
Senior Julia Zielinski was the top performer for the Diplomats at last year's NCAA Mid-East Regional and looks to again lead the F&M squad this year. Grace Adams and Kathleen McCutcheon both return for sophomore seasons after performing well last year at the regional competition. Strong contributions are also expected from senior Rachel Weiss and sophomore Abby Grehlinger. Each had successful spring seasons on the track by earning a berth into the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships in the 5000 meter run and the 3000 meter steeplechase, respectively.
The Road Ahead
