F&M Fourth at Delaware Invite

NEWARK, Del. – The Franklin & Marshall women's cross country team took fourth at the Delaware Invitational Saturday morning. The race had eight teams from all three divisions and three additional club teams.  

The Diplomats averaged 26:13, behind St. Thomas Aquinas (25:21.65), West Chester (24:17.91) and host Delaware (23:15.14). 

Mallory Reed and Julia Zielinski both took top 25 finishes with 120 runners participating in the 6k event. Reed ran 24:59.93 to place 22nd and Zielinski crossed at 25:14.44 for 25th.  

Kim Hilfrank (26:23.47) and Jessica Love (26:30.94) both finished in the top 50 while Katie Lane ran 27:56.20 and Rachel Weiss crossed in 28:13.08. Victoria Ngo (28:28.27), Brielle Stander (28:55.30), Abby Lawlor (31:02.61), Caroline Muir (31:06.19) and Kelsey Conrad (31:42.29) round out the F&M team.  

F&M returns to action on Nov. 2 at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships hosted by McDaniel.
