LANCASTER, Pa - The Franklin & Marshall women's cross country had three runners finish in the top 10, led by sophomore Rachel Suydam in the 5K Championship Run for the Roses held at Baker Campus on Saturday.
Priscilla Jennings was the top runner on the day for Division II Millersville, taking the course in 18:29. Suydam came in first on the team for the second straight week and fourth overall with a time of 19:44, Emily Kornfeld took sixth (20:01) and Jenna Bush was close behind in eighth in 20:13.
The Diplomats had 15 runners with three more making the top 20 cut. Amy Jordan, Kelly Farrelly and Megan Hunter filed in one-by-one. Jordan and Farrelly tied for 17th with a shared time of 20:34. Hunter was nine seconds behind with a time of 20:43 for 19th overall.
F&M takes a two-week hiatus and returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Centennial Conference Championships held at Gettysburg.
