COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's volleyball team took a 3-0 victory (25-13, 25-16, 25-17) over Ursinus in Centennial Conference (CC) play on Saturday.

The Diplomats improved to 15-3, 6-0 CC while the Bears fell to 6-14, 0-6 CC.

F&M jumped out to a 9-3 lead in the opening set. The Diplomats held Ursinus in check the rest of the way, taking the set 25-13.

Ursinus kept up with the Diplomats late into the second set. F&M held a narrow 18-16 lead before flipping the switch to score seven straight points-spearheaded by three Allison Franke kills- to take a 25-16 set victory.

F&M fell behind 6-2 early in set three before storming back on an 8-2 run to take a 14-8 lead. The Diplomats went 11-9 the rest of the way to take the set, 25-17. Amy Mullen picked up the match-clinching kill.

Franke's eight kills paced the Diplomat offense. Amy Mullen had seven kills.

On defense, Carlita Bozzo led the way for F&M with 11 digs.

The Diplomats return to CC action Wednesday night when Gettysburg comes to Lancaster at 7:00 p.m.
