LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Grace Maggiore and Allison Franke were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Honorable Mention list. This is the first All-American honor for both players and sixth and seventh for the program.

Sophomore Maggiore (Chapel Hill, N.C. / Carrboro) ranks 10th in the nation for services aces with 74 and places 30th with aces per set (0.67). She ranked fourth in the Centennial Conference (CC), averaging 9.04 assists per set. The nod was Maggiore's fourth postseason accolade to go along with her All-Region First Team recognition and CC Player of the Year and All-CC First Team Honors.
Maggiore was the first F&M player to earn multiple All-Region accolades since Caroline Hubbard '15. She was the seventh F&M player to earn Player of the Year honors with the last one being Julia Harvey '15 in 2013.
Franke (McLean, Va. / Langley) led the team in both kills per set (2.77) and total kills (296), which were good for eighth and sixth in the Conference, respectively. This was Franke's fourth postseason accolade after earning All-Region First Team honors and Freshman of the Year, as well as CC Rookie of the Year and All-CC First Team recognition.
Franke was the first Diplomat to be named All-Region Freshman of the Year since Julia Harvey '15 in 2011. The right-side hitter was also the first CC Rookie of the Year for the program and 15th first-year in CC history to earn First Team honors.
F&M ended the 2018 season with a 23-8 record, earning the team's first NCAA appearance since 2014 and 11th-straight Centennial Conference (CC) playoff berth.
