LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall landed three players on the All-Centennial Conference (CC) Volleyball Team, announced on Tuesday by the conference office. Ellie Ezekiel earned a spot on the first team, while Mary Leneweaver and Allison Edelstein received Honorable Mention.
Ezekiel (Chadds Ford, Pa. / Garnet Valley) nabbed All-CC recognition for the fourth time in as many seasons, landing on the All-CC First Team for the second consecutive year. As an outside hitter, she ended the year with the CC's highest kill total at 340, while her 3.62 kills per set ranked second in the conference. With the recognition, she became one of just seven players in program history to earn all-conference honors in each of their four seasons.
Edelstein (Livingston, N.J. / Livingston), a senior setter, received honorable mention honors to make the All-CC Team for the first time as a senior. She led the conference in assists per set all season, finishing at 10.28 to top the CC and rank 22nd in the nation.
Leneweaver (Wilmington, Del. / Ursuline Academy) also earned honorable mention status in her first appearance on the All-CC Team. A senior libero, Leneweaver finished the season in the conference's top five in total digs (469) and digs per set (4.84) after starting all 28 matches for the Diplomats.
F&M's season ended in the first round of the CC Tournament with a 3-0 loss to Muhlenberg. The Diplomats concluded the season with a record of 19-9 and appeared in the conference tournament for the ninth straight year.
