Series History: Franklin & Marshall continues Centennial Conference (CC) play on Wednesday, visiting McDaniel for a 7:00 p.m. match.  The Green Terror hold a 32-26 all-time advantage in the series, but the Diplomats enter the contest having won the last seven meetings.

On Saturday, F&M travels to Maryland for a trimatch. Competition begins at 1:30 when the Diplomats take on the hosts Stevenson for the third time in history, splitting the previous two meetings 1-1. 

Play concludes in the afternoon when F&M squares off with Rowan, with the Profs holding a 3-2 all-time advantage. However, the Diplomats have won the last two meetings while the last Rowan victory occurred in 1987, when the school was known as Glassboro St.

Most Recent Meetings: McDaniel and F&M last faced off on Oct. 15, 2014 in the Mayser Center. Ellie Ezekiel earned 16 kills as the Diplomats cruised to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-23) victory.

The last meeting between Rowan and F&M took place on Oct. 11, 2013 at the Knights Fall Classic, hosted by Neumann. Ezekiel led the way with 15 kills as the Diplomats emerged victorious, 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-15).

Last Week: Last week began with the Diplomats hosting Johns Hopkins on Wednesday, falling to the Blue Jays 3-0.

CC play continued on Friday as Haverford came to town. Fourteen kills from Ezekiel and 23 digs from Alyssa Sanchez could not stop the Fords from coming out on top, 3-1.

The next day, F&M traveled to Radnor, Pa. for matches against Stockton and Cabrini. F&M got 16 kills from Barbara Kapustin against Stockton, but dropped a pair of two-point sets, losing the match 3-0.

The following match against hosts Cabrini saw F&M fall 3-0, including another two-point loss, 26-24, in the third.

In the Rankings: Allison Edelstein continues to lead the conference in assists per set, boasting a 9.37 average. Her closest competitor is Washington College's Taylor Horan at 8.83.

With 43 kills last week, Ezekiel now has 233 on the year, good for fourth in the conference. Her 3.19 kills per set is also in the top 10.

Sanchez has continued to move up the rankings in digs and digs per set. She earned 71 kills last week, giving her 317 total digs on the year and an average of 4.66 per set, both of which are fourth in the conference.

Milestone Watch: Sanchez, a senior, now has 1,510 digs in her career, placing her fourth in program history. She will look to surpass third place (Julie Simpson, 1,576) and second place (Melynne Stufft, 1,602) in the coming weeks.

At 832 career kills, Ezekiel is now 15th in F&M history. The junior outside hitter is within striking distance of 14th (Melynne Stufft, 837), and could reach as high as ninth (Elizabeth Earll, 865) by the end of the week.

Head coach Mary Kate Boland, in her 13th season leading F&M, now has 244 career wins. Assistant coach Steve Coulson currently holds the record, recording 251 wins during his two tenures at the helm for the Diplomats, from 1986-89 and 1993-2000.
