Series History: F&M enters the first round of the Centennial Conference (CC) playoffs with a 24-16 advantage in the all-time series against Johns Hopkins. These squads last squared off on Oct. 8 in Baltimore where the Blue Jays escaped with the narrow 3-2 victory.

Last Week: The 2014 regular season concluded last week with the Diplomats winning three contests, including two conference matches, to propel into the playoffs. F&M downed Gettysburg 3-1 on Wednesday before defeating Dickinson (3-1) and Cabrini (3-1) as part of a trimatch on Saturday.

Ellie Ezekiel (16 kills, 11 digs) and Caroline Hubbard (39 assists, 11 digs) each recorded a double-double in the victory over the Bullets.

Julie Harvey led the offense in the win over the Red Devils with 12 kills, while Katie Foreman notched 11 kills and 11 digs for her first double-double of the season. Hubbard added 34 helpers, while Shae Murphy finished with five service aces.

In the regular season finale, Harvey paced the offense again, finishing with 17 kills and a whopping .680 hitting percentage. Ezekiel had 15 kills, while Alyssa Sanchez added 21 digs for F&M.

CC Tournament History: The Diplomats enter tournament action looking for their first CC Crown since 2010 when F&M defeated Swarthmore 3-0. At last year's tournament, the Diplomats advanced to CC Semifinals, but fell to Hopkins 3-1. Last time F&M beat the Blue Jays in the tournament was back in the 2010 CC Semifinals where the Diplomats won a 3-2 thriller at Haverford.

Harvey Earns POW Honors: Last week Harvey was named CC Volleyball Player of the Week. It was the fifth honor of her career, and first this season.

Harvey led the Diplomats to a 3-0 week, clinching a playoff spot for F&M. In a key win over Gettysburg on Wednesday, the senior outside hitter recorded 12 kills without making an error in 27 swings, while hitting .444 percent with three blocks and six digs.

In a win over Dickinson on Saturday that drove the Diplomats into the playoffs, Harvey notched 12 kills and no errors, while hitting .667 percent.

In the final match of the regular season against Cabrini, Harvey had 17 kills and a .680 hitting percentage. For the week, she totaled 41 kills without recording a single error.

Tops in the CC: Hubbard has remained near the top of the conference all season in helpers per set, and currently sits in second place with 9.41 assists per set. Washington College's Taylor Horan holds the slight edge for first at 9.49.

Hubbard Closing In: With 3,395 career assists, Hubbard is just 38 away from tying Jamie Cardman (1994-97), who is third on F&M's all-time list with 3,433. Head coach Mary Kate Boland (1997-00) is the program's leader with 4,012.

Double Trouble: As a team, F&M has recorded 15 double-double on the season. Hubbard leads the team with eight, followed by Ezekiel with four, while Jaclyn Laforgia and Foreman each have one.
