Series History: F&M heads to Chestertown, Md. on Saturday to face off against Centennial Conference (CC) foe Washington, before a non-conference battle against Goucher.
The Diplomats own the all-time record over the Shorewomen at 36-7, as F&M has not dropped a match since Oct. 17, 1989. The Diplomats have also been dominant over the Gophers, posting an 8-1 record. These two squads have not played each other since Sept, 23, 2000, when F&M won 3-0.
Last Week: The Diplomats blanked McDaniel 3-0 on Wednesday, before falling to Washington & Lee 3-0 and Randolph-Macon 3-0 on Saturday.
Ezekiel finished with 16 kills and a .406 hitting percentage, while Harvey notched 13 kills and an impressive .579 hitting percentage. Caroline Hubbard added 39 assists, and Jaclyn Laforgia (15) and Alyssa Sanchez (13) were in double-digits in digs.
In the match against the Generals, Ezekiel continued her stellar week, finishing with 12 kills, while Hubbard recorded 34 helpers.
Against the Yellow Jackets, Ezekiel led the offense again with 15 kills and a .394 hitting percentage. Allison Edelstein provided 19 assists, while Sanchez and Laforgia each had 10 digs.
Helping Out: Hubbard maintains her second-place spot in the CC in assists per set at 9.29, while Washington's Taylor Horan continues to lead at 9.57.
New Kid on the Block: Harvey has amassed 76 career solo blocks, good for seventh on F&M's all-time list. She is just five solo blocks away from passing Tara Ehst (1990-93) for sixth.
In the Standings: Swarthmore leads the conference with a 7-0 record, while Muhlenberg (6-1) and Haverford (6-1) are tied for second. Gettysburg and Johns Hopkins are tied for third at 4-2, and F&M and McDaniel are both 3-4, however the Diplomats own the tiebreaker over the Green Terror. The top-five move on to the CC playoffs, starting Nov. 5.
