BALTIMORE, Md.—Franklin & Marshall saw its seven match winning streak come to an end Wednesday night in Baltimore, as Johns Hopkins defeated the Diplomats 3-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball action. The Blue Jays took the first set 25-18, the second set 25-22, and the third set 25-10.
Reigning CC and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week Julie Harvey recorded six kills in nine attempts. Kerry Rom led the Diplomats (9-8, 4-1 CC) attack with seven kills. Defensively, Rom, Katy May, Caitlin Krutsick, and Lis Power all had double-digit dig totals. Caroline Hubbard tallied 26 of the squads' 29 assists on the night.
F&M will be back on the court on Sunday, when they host Haverford at the Mayser Center. Game time is 11 a.m.
