LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's volleyball team was able to hold off a strong start by Lebanon Valley Friday night rallying from a 1-6 deficit in the first set. Sydney Seydel started the momentum for the Diplomats with a kill making the score 10-13. From then on, the Diplomats proved to be too powerful for the Dutchmen winning the match in three straight sets.
In the first set, F&M made the game a nail biter fighting for every point to get back in good scoring position. Both teams would exchange points until the Diplomats pulled away ending the match 26-24. The Dutchmen were able to jump out early in the second set; however, they could not close out the Diplomats. F&M regrouped and took control of the game winning 25-19. In the final set of the match, the Diplomats cruised to victory ending the game 25-15.
