Wylie and Powers Named to All-Region Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Rachel Wylie and Lindsey Powers were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Region Team for the Mideast Region.

Both earned the honor for the first time with Wylie being named in the 400m Hurdles and Powers for the Shot Put. The top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction.

Wylie (State College, Pa. / State College) delivered her fastest finish in the 400m Hurdles during the preliminaries of the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships, with her time of 1:02.57 earning the junior a bid to the 2019 NCAA Championships this weekend. 

Powers (Jupiter, Fla. / Peddie School) notched a record-breaking performance to close out her career, resetting the program record in the Shot Put at the ECAC Championships with a toss of 12.72m on May 16.
