EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Rebecca Swisher broke the meet pole vault record to lead the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team at the All-American meet, hosted by East Stroudsburg University, of Saturday. The invite featured Division II and III teams and was a non-scoring meet.
Swisher's height of 11'-11.75" in the pole vault broke the meet and stadium record of 11'-11.25" held by Melissa Fellenbaum of Alvernia in 2012 and Laura Beimfohr of ESU in 2012.
Livia Meneghin finished fifth in the shot put at 40'-05.00" while Morgan Gray was eighth in the triple jump at 33'-02.50". Alyssa Ward's height of 5'-02.25" in the high jump was good for fourth, while the freshman tied for 13th in the long jump with a distance of 15'-07.75" and Kimberly Hilfrank's time of 5:06.65 in the 1500-meter run was good for 13th, while Grace Adams was 15th in the race with a time of 5:07.53.
The Diplomats are back in action on Thursday and Friday at the Penn Relays.
