    Three medals on the final day of competition helped Franklin & Marshall’s women’s outdoor track and field team to a sixth-place finish at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships at Ursinus on Sunday afternoon. Alyssa Ward repeated as the long jump champion with a distance of 11.37m. The Diplomats tallied 68 teams points while Johns Hopkins took first with a total of 237.5.

    Franklin & Marshall women’s track and field team took home second with six podium finishes garnering 95 team points at the Blue Jay Tune Up hosted by Elizabethtown on Saturday. Elizabethtown finished in the top spot with 191.50 points.

    Alyssa Ward delivered a 15th-place finish in the triple jump at the Penn Relays hosted by the University of Pennsylvania today. Logan Lewis finished 37th in the shot put. Ward and Lewis were the lone Diplomats competitors at the 122-year-old event, the oldest track and field meet in the United States.

    Franklin & Marshall's Alyssa Ward earned Centennial Conference (CC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors, announced by the conference office on Monday. The honor marks the third of the season for the team and fifth for her career in the outdoor season.

Alyssa Ward delivered two podium performances with a first-place finish in the high jump (1.57m) and a second-place finish in the long jump (5.17m). The women finished with 55 points while Johns Hopkins took the top spot with 235.50.
