LANCASTER, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team swept both singles and doubles to collect its first Centennial Conference (CC) victory of the season with a 9-0 win over McDaniel on Wednesday.

The Diplomats (2-4, 1-2 CC) only lost 12 games on the afternoon, posting shutouts in nine sets to defeat the Green Terror (0-4, 0-4 CC). Dani Barish posted wins at No. 1 doubles and singles. Barish teamed with Erica Wood for an 8-0 decision, before earning her second CC win with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Becky Parks.

Wood also competed at No. 2 singles, defeating Jamie Latham 6-3, 6-1. Kelsey Tylus and Jenna Ishkanian each blanked their opponents with 6-0, 6-0 scores at No. 4 and 6, respectively. Dana Russo and Cecily Koss rounded out the singles wins for F&M. Russo won 6-0, 6-2 in the third spot and Koss earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at fifth.

The duo of Russo and Tylus recorded an 8-3 win at No. 2, while Ishkanian and Valeri Harteg posted a 8-0 victory at No. 3 doubles.

The Diplomats look for their second conference win at Bryn Mawr on Saturday. Match time is 1 p.m.
