Women’s Tennis Triumphs Over Gettysburg

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's women's tennis team rolled to a 6-3 win over Gettysburg on Wednesday afternoon in Centennial Conference (CC) play. 

The road victory improved the Diplomats to 7-5, 5-2 CC on the year, as F&M snapped the Bullets' five-game winning streak and lowered their record to 9-5, 4-2 CC. 

By the Numbers

Ahead by a 2-1 score following doubles play, F&M clinched the match early in singles competition with straight-set wins from Gavriel Rubenstein at No. 2, Alex D'Angelo at No. 4 and Emma Wu at No. 3.

The Diplomats improved their series win streak over the Bullets to seven matches, dating back to the 2011 season.
