Diplomats Blank Green Terror

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's women's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 sweep of McDaniel at home on Wednesday afternoon. The Centennial Conference (CC) victory improved the Diplomats to 4-4, 2-1 CC on the year while the Green Terror dropped to 2-5, 0-3 CC.

By the Numbers 

McDaniel forfeited a total of three matches on the day due to a lack of players, and F&M was dominant in the other six. Gavriel Rubenstein and Allison Wolters combined at No. 1 doubles for the 8-0 shutout. In singles, Marissa Witmer (No. 2) and Ella Mure (No. 4) each earned 6-0, 6-0 straight set wins. 

The Diplomats are now 40-1 all-time against McDaniel and have won 39 consecutive matchups dating back to 1977.
