LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Allison Wolters was named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) First Team for Singles, while she joined teammate Sarah Haas on Second-Team Doubles, announced by the league office on Thursday.
The honor is the second straight singles accolade for Wolters, while both Wolters and Haas were named All-CC Doubles a year ago with different partners.
Wolters (Belle Mead, N.J. / Laurel Springs School) once again distinguished herself as one of the top singles players in the Conference during her junior campaign, producing a team-leading 12-7, 8-2 CC record after competing solely at the No. 1 spot in the order. Ranked No. 19 in the Atlantic South region, Wolters finished the year with seven wins in her last 10 matches.
Wolters and Haas (Larchmont, N.Y. / Mamaroneck) formed a dominant No. 1 doubles duo in 2018, compiling a 12-7 overall record and a 7-3 mark in CC play. The partners ranked No. 14 in the Atlantic South and placed second among Conference foes in wins.
The Diplomats tallied a 9-8, 6-4 CC record on the year, advancing to the program's fifth consecutive CC Tournament where F&M fell short to Washington by a 5-1 score in the First Round.
