FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Franklin & Marshall visited Mary Washington on Sunday afternoon, falling 9-0 to the 18th-ranked Eagles in non-conference women's tennis.

The Diplomats are now 2-8 on the season, while Mary Washington improved to 13-3.

The Eagles, ranked 18th in the nation and sixth in the region, opened play by taking all three doubles matchups.

Mary Washington continued to dominate in singles action, winning all six matchups in straight sets. Sarah Haas came closest to winning for the Diplomats, falling 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3.
