Diplomats Wrap Up Regular Season at McGinness Invitational

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall finished its regular season schedule on Saturday, hosting Swarthmore and Gettysburg for the McGinness Invitational.

Freshman Allison McCarthy put together a solid day in the pool, winning the 500- and 200-yard freestyles. She finished in 5:25.81 to win the 500-yard edition while her time of 2:03.68 netted her the 200-yard race and a career-best time.

Mia Konstantakos led the Diplomats in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:23.08. She was followed by Katherine Kidder with a personal-best time of 2:31.66.

In the 200-yard IM, Jane Posner was the first to touch the wall with a time of 2:22.41. Close behind was Carson Gurley at 2:25.83.

F&M returns to action on Friday for day one of the Centennial Conference Championships. Sessions are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
