    Franklin & Marshall College swimmer Becca Meyers '18 this week won the 2015 ESPY Award for the Best Female Athlete with a Disability after beating out four other nominees in a nation-wide vote.

    Franklin & Marshall’s men’s and women’s swimming teams earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Honors for their performance in the classroom throughout the spring 2015 semester.
  • Vote F&M’s Becca Meyers for ESPY Award

    Franklin & Marshall College swimmer Becca Meyers is a nominee for the 2015 ESPYs Best Female Athlete with a Disability Award. Voting runs through July 15th with fans able to cast one vote per category.
  • Senior Awards Announced at Annual Luncheon

    Katherine Grant and David Rosenfeld were presented with the highest honors given to Franklin & Marshall senior athletes at the annual awards luncheon on Monday in the Mayser Center. Grant won the Karvasales Outstanding Senior Female Athlete Award, while Rosenfeld was honored with the Garrigues Outstanding Senior Male Athlete Award.
  • Season in Review: 2014-15 Women's Swimming

    Franklin & Marshall’s women’s swimming team enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in recent memory, as the 2014-15 Diplomats accumulated six dual meet victories, including five Centennial Conference (CC) wins. F&M swam well at the CC Championships in February, as the Diplomats won 12 medals en route to a second-place finish.
  • Dromerick Wraps Up Action at NCAA's

    Bridget Dromerick closed out the final day of the NCAA Championships by competing in the 200-yard backstroke and finished with a time of 2:04.33, missing out on tonight’s final. Olivia Jackson of Williams posted the fastest time of 1:57.91.
  • Dromerick Competes at Day Two of NCAA Championship

    Bridget Dromerick raced in the 200-yard freestyle at day two of the NCAA Championships on Thursday in Shenandoah, Texas. The freshman finished the preliminary event with a time of 1:52.69 and missed out on tonight’s final, but will compete in the 200-yard backstroke on Saturday. The top finish in the 200-free preliminary event came from Ana Bogdanovski of Johns Hopkins with a time of 1:47.64.
  • Dromerick Competes at Day One of NCAA Championship

    Bridget Dromierck competed in the 500-yard freestyle at day one of the NCAA Championships on Wednesday, finishing the preliminary event with a time of 5:01.73. Dromerick missed out on tonight’s final but will compete in the 200-yard freestyle tomorrow. The top finisher in the 500-yard preliminary was Sarah Thompson from Williams with a time of 4:47.67.
  • Dromerick Ready for NCAA's

    Bridget Dromerick’s time of 4:55.65 in the 500-yard freestyle at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships last month earned her a spot at the NCAA Championship after qualifying with the eighth-best time in the country. This is the third year in a row that a Diplomat swimmer will be represented at NCAA’s, as Katherine Grant qualified in 2013 and 2014.
  • Dromerick Named ECAC Swimmer and Rookie of the Week

    Bridget Dromerick has been named Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Swimmer and Rookie of the Week for women’s swimming. This is the freshman’s first ECAC honor, and second of the week, after being named Centennial Conference (CC) Swimmer and Rookie of the Year following her impressive showing at the 2015 CC Championships.

    The Franklin & Marshall women’s swimming team was edged out by Ursinus on the final day of the 2015 Centennial Conference (CC) Championships. The Bears captured their second consecutive CC Title with 667.5 points, while the Diplomats earned 644 points and the host school Gettysburg placed third with 586.5.

    Out of 12 competing teams, the Franklin & Marshall women’s swimming team earned a fourth place finish at the 2014 F&M Invite, scoring 330 points. Stevens won the Invite with 728, followed by Washington & Lee (712) and D-I opponent Mount St. Mary’s (484).
