LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's women's swimming team is in second place after day two of the F&M Invitational with 467 points while Washington & Lee jumped to first place with 602 points. Ramapo sits in third place with 276 points, Kutztown is in fourth place with 272 points, and Widener is in fifth place with 257 points. 

Katherine Grant earned a win in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.23 and Rebecca Daen finished sixth at 1:58.98.

Jillian Albus finished in third place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.77. Daen (25.11) and Leeza Rojas (25.83) finished fifth and seventh, respectively.

In the next event, Maggie Johns finished third in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:44.60 followed by Caitlyn Fuller (4:56.01) who placed sixth and Charlotte Katter (4:59.11) who placed seventh for the Diplomats. Fuller added a seventh-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:38.03.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Courtney Collins finished fourth with a time of 1:02.07, while Taylor Mateja placed sixth at 1:03.33. Collins also finished seventh in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.19 and Albus followed for eighth at 1:02.16.

A team of Johns, Daen, Rojas, and Grant finished in second place in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:58.16.

The Diplomats wrap up the F&M Invitational tomorrow with finals set for 5:00 p.m. The list of events include the 500 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 200 individual medley and the 400 free relay.
