PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Emily Knapp fought hard in her first career appearance at the CSA Individual Championships on Friday in Rhode Island, before being eliminated for the Tournament. Knapp was the lone representative from Franklin & Marshall women's squash.
The Diplomats' first-year student-athlete opened play with a tough 11-1, 11-0, 11-5 loss against Trinity's Jennifer Haley in the Molloy Cup (B Division): West - Round of 16. Knapp's Tournament came to a close in the next match with a tightly-contested 11-9, 11-5, 11-4 setback against Williams' Sarah Wilwerth.
F&M went 7-13 overall on the 2018-19 season, including a 6-3 win over No. 21 Mount Holyoke at the CSA Team Championships - Walker Cup (C Division) in late February.
