Diplomats Secure Place in Semifinals at CSAs

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Franklin & Marshall's No. 20 women's squash team upended No. 21 Mount Holyoke by a 6-3 score in the CSA Team Championships - Walker Cup (C Division) - First Round on Friday afternoon.

The win propelled the Diplomats to 7-11 on the year while Mount Holyoke fell to 15-8.

By the Numbers

Emily Bartos notched the match-clinching win at No. 4 with her 3-0 shutout - one of three sweeps on the day for F&M. The Diplomats were unstoppable in the middle of the order with a perfect 6-0 mark at the No.'s 3-8 positions.

The all-time series now favors F&M by an 8-3 margin, including three straight decisions for the Diplomats.
