WASHINGTON, D.C. – Franklin & Marshall's Sherilyn Yang went 2-0 in the Holleran Cup: B Division North bracket at day one of the Collegiate Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships on Friday to advance into tomorrow's Semifinals.

By the Numbers
Yang made short work of Virginia's Diane Tyson in the Round of 16, dispatching her opponent by scores of 11-7, 11-7, 13-11. In the Quarterfinals, Yang took a 1-0 edge over Drexel's Hannah Blatt with a hard-fought 12-10 win in the opening game. Blatt battled back to capture the second frame by an 11-4 score, but Yang secured the final two games by 11-7, 11-9 tallies for the 3-1 win.

Student-athletes are placed into two divisions, A and B. The top 10 of 16 in Division A will be named First Team All-Americans, while the other six from Division A and the top four finishers in the Division B brackets will be Second Team All-Americans.
Yang returns to the court tomorrow for a 2:00 p.m. matchup with the bracket's No. 1 seed Sue Ann Yong from Harvard at the Squash on Fire Club in Washington.
