Seven Named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

LANCASTER, Pa. – Seven members of the Franklin & Marshall softball team were named to the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete team.

Izzy Schaefer (Radnor, Pa. / Radnor) received the honor for the fourth consecutive year. Both Sam Clemens (Hainesport, N.J. / Rancocas Valley Regional) and Crystal Good (Muncy, Pa. / Muncy) were named to the list for the third time. Christine Miles (Crofton, Md. / South River) and Katie Wenger (Upper Darby, Pa. / The Agnes Irwin School) earned the honor for the second consecutive year, while Ella Glenn (Egg Harbor Township, N.J. / Egg Harbor Township) and Hannah Salvucci (Oakdale, Pa. / West Allegheny) both landed on the list for the first time.

The accolade is granted to any player who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2017-18 academic year and was submitted by a member coach of the NFCA.
