Softball Welcomes Pair into Ring of Honor

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall inducted two members into its softball Ring of Honor as part of its Homecoming celebration on Saturday.  Angela Paternostro-Pfister '98 and Lisa Huber-Kline '90 became the 12th and 13th former player to be honored.

Paternostro-Pfister played catcher for the Diplomats and ranks in the top 10 all-time in seven offensive categories.   She is an attorney in Newton, N.J., where she lives with her husband Russ.

Huber-Kline is considered one of the best hitters to ever wear a Diplomats uniform.  Her .356 career-average ranks fifth all-time.  She ranks first in walks and stolen bases.  Lisa is currently a chiropractor in Beavertown, Pa., where she resides with her husband, Skip, and children Alexis, Caleigh and Christian.

F&M enters the 2013 season looking to improve on a seventh place finish in the Centennial Conference (CC) standings last year.  The Diplomats finished their 2012 campaign with a 13-20-1, 5-11 CC record.
