Franklin & Marshall continued to cement itself as one of the top lacrosse programs in the country with another deep run into the NCAA Tournament and a consistent top-10 national ranking throughout the year. F&M advanced to the NCAAs for the seventh straight season, making it to four Elite Eights, and two Final Fours in those appearances. The Diplomats finished the year with a 17-5 record with a perfect 9-0 mark in Centennial Conference (CC) action.

Two one-goal games had F&M sitting at 1-1 heading into March, when the Diplomats rattled off four straight wins over nationally ranked opponents, before finishing the month with a 7-3 mark. April got off to a great start with a 9-6 win over No. 1 Gettysburg that kicked started a 7-0 month for F&M, culminating in the Centennial Conference regular season title and the top seed in the CC Tournament. F&M took down Haverford 16-10 in the Semifinal, before falling to Gettysburg in the Championship game.

The Diplomats received one of 10 at-large bids (Pool C) to the program's 21st NCAA Tournament after ending the regular season with a 15-4 record. F&M took care of Springfield 17-3 in the Second Round and defeated Illinois Wesleyan 19-7 in the Sweet 16 the following week. The Diplomats' run came to an end the next contest, falling to eventual National Champions Middlebury, 16-4, in the Elite Eight.

F&M dominated the All-CC Team with six members earning their way onto the list. Megan Jackson, Maggie Hanzsche and Emily Kitchin were named to the First Team, while Ally Marino, Tabitha Rodriguez, and Anya Chopoorian landed on the Second Team.

Hanzsche garnered Defensive Player of the Year honors, Marino was named the Rookie of the Year and head coach Mike Faith, along with his staff of assistant coaches Brooke Sabol and Emily Eddowes were picked by their peers as the Centennial Conference (CC) Coaching of Staff the Year.

Three members were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWCLA) All-America Team. Maggie Hanzsche was named to the First Team while Megan Jackson and Emily Kitchin earned spots on the Second Team. The honor was the second of Hanzsche's career after landing on the Second Team last season and was the first for Jackson and Kitchin.
