LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWCLA) All-America Team, announced Monday. Maggie Hanzsche was named to the First Team while Megan Jackson and Emily Kitchin earned spots on the Second Team. The honor is the second of Hanzsche's career after landing on the Second Team last season and the first for Jackson and Kitchin.

The honors bring F&M's total to 79 All-America honors in program history.
Hanzsche (Berwyn, Pa. / Conestoga) also earned spots on the All-Region and All-Centennial Conference (CC) First Teams, as well as being named the CC Defensive Player of the Year. The junior defender led the CC in caused turnovers with 34 and placed second on the Diplomats with 42 groundballs, helping to cement a defense that held opponents to only 7.29 goals a game during the regular season.
Jackson (Cockeysville, Md. / Notre Dame Prep.) garnered All-America honors for the first time in her career after being named to the All-Region First Team earlier this year. The sophomore attacker, a unanimous decision on the All-CC First Team, led the team with 65 draw controls, finished second with 46 goals and fifth with eight assists.
Kitchin (Morristown, N.J. / Morristown-Beard School) is one of two first-years to earn All-America recognition this year and is the first under head coach Mike Faith's tenure. The first-year 'keeper was named to the All-Region First Team after leading the Conference in save percentage (55.8) and goals-against average (7.65). Kitchin was named the CC Defensive POTW four times during the regular season and earned IWLCA/Lacrosse Sports Network Division III POTW honors twice.
F&M advanced to the program's second consecutive NCAA Elite Eight, finishing the 2019 campaign with a 17-5, 9-0 CC record.
