Playoff Outlook

With a perfect mark so far in Centennial Conference (CC) action, with one more win, F&M looks to secure the top seed for the second-straight year. Gettysburg and Washington follow tied at 6-1 while Dickinson (5-2) and Swarthmore (4-3) round out the top five.

Senior Day

Prior to the start of Saturday's game, F&M will honor its six-member senior class of Sarah Brooke, Maddie Hughes, Caroline Kolva, Julia McKay, Bridget O'Donnell, and Maura Smith.

Series History

The Diplomats face a pair of opponents, looking to remain undefeated against both Dickinson (45-0) on Wednesday and Muhlenberg (36-0) on Saturday.

Jane Cote enters the week just six assists shy of becoming the seventh Diplomat to reach 100 career assists.

The IWCLA Coaches poll looks nearly identical to last week for Centennial Conference teams. F&M remains at No. 4 in the nation, while No. 2 Gettysburg failed to reclaim the top rank. Dickinson moved up to No. 22 while Washington dropped to No. 25.

Player of the Week

Emily Kitchin was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse, announced by the league office on Monday. The honor is the second for Kitchin and fourth for the team this season.

Kitchin had a 2-0 week in the cage for the Diplomats last week. She picked up seven saves, and allowed just three goals in a 16-3 win over McDaniel and finished the week with 16 stops and allowed just six goals in a 13-6 at Washington.

F&M Last Week

F&M notched a 2-0 week, first defeating McDaniel in a decisive 16-3 victory on Wednesday. Jane Cote paced the offense with five goals and three assists. Recap.

The Diplomats then took down No. 24 Washington by a 13-6 score on the road on Saturday, led by three goals and one assist by Ally Marino and 16 saves from Emily Kitchin. Recap.

Last Time We Met Dickinson

Clare Monaghan, Katie Groenke, Megan Jackson, Paige Moriarty, and Maddie Hughes all netted two goals while Monaghan led with two assists. Nancy Taylor, Caroline Kolva and Grace Norley all had an assist, while Ryann Laible ended with an assist and a goal.

Anya Chopoorian came away with four draw controls. Danielle Harrington tallied eight saves and four ground balls.

The Diplomats outshot the Red Devils 31-17 and went 17-for-22 in clear attempts.

Last Time We Met Muhlenberg

Paige Moriarty finished with two goals and five assists while Clare Monaghan, Megan Jackson and Juliann Lisovicz all scored three goals. Jane Cote had two scores with three helpers while Katie Groenke and Ryann Laible both ended with a goal. Maddie Hughes had two assists and Monaghan added an assist to her line.

Jackson caused two turnovers on the defensive end and finished with six ground balls and four draw controls. Danielle Harrington impressed with 12 stops in the cage.

F&M outshot Muhlenberg 34-32, held an 18-14 edge in ground balls, while the Mules had a 16-13 advantage in ground balls.
