After a tough February that saw F&M start the year 1-2, the Diplomats went 6-1 in March with wins over nationally ranked Messiah and Cortland State. F&M continued its streak into April, starting out the month with an 8-4 win over No. 1 Gettysburg en route to a perfect 9-0 mark in Centennial action and claiming the top seed in the CC Tournament.

The Diplomats took care of Dickinson 12-8 in the semifinal of the CC Tournament, before falling to Gettysburg in the Championship game. Following the tournament, the Diplomats earned an at-large bid to their 20th NCAA Tournament.

F&M put together a 6-1 run in the second half to erase a 10-6 deficit and defeated No. 13 Tufts 12-11 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Diplomats faced Colorado College in the Sweet 16 the following weekend and took care of the Tigers 19-9, before falling 9-6 to The College of New Jersey in the Elite Eight.

Senior Paige Moriarty solidified herself as one of the best players to wear the blue and white after resetting the F&M and Centennial career points record and finished with 393 career points. She also reset the school's assist record with 163 assists and her 230 career goals are second in program history.
