LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the No. 5 Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWCLA) All-America Team announced Friday. Vanessa Budd and Paige Moriarty both earned First Team honors, while Sarah Bozzo landed on the Third Team.

The All-America accolade is the third for Budd, second for Moriarty and the first of Bozzo's career, to elevate the program's total to 73.

Budd (Darien, Conn. / Darien) became just the fifth Diplomat to earn All-America recognition three times in her career. Her impressive senior year accolades continue to pile up and also include a spot on the All-Metro Region First Team for the third straight year, collecting the second Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Year award of her career, and also being named to the All-CC First Team for the third consecutive season. Budd has started in all 21 of the team's games and has caused a CC-best 31 turnovers while leading F&M with 29 ground balls. 

Moriarty (Glen Ridge, N.J. / Glen Ridge) garnered a spot on the First Team for the second consecutive year after also collecting her third straight All-Region award and being named All-CC for the third year in a row. The junior attacker currently has 95 points on the year to lead the CC and is the only player to eclipse 80 points. Her 51 goals place her fourth in the Centennial, and her 44 assists are good for second.

Bozzo (Mountain Lakes, N.J. / Mountain Lakes) picked up her third postseason award after also landing on the All-Region First Team for the first time in her career and garnering her fourth straight All-CC accolade. She ranks second on the Diplomats with 28 ground balls and second in caused turnovers with 17, playing at the heart of an F&M defense that ranks first in the CC with 169 caused turnovers and second in the Centennial (11th in the nation) with 5.96 goals allowed per game.

F&M faces No. 10 Trinity this Saturday in Hartford, Conn. in the NCAA Sweet 16. The contest is set for an 11:30 a.m. start.
