Series History: Franklin & Marshall and York clash for the seventh time in six years, with all previous meetings going to the Diplomats. F&M has claimed a regular-season battle in each of the past five seasons, and added a 10-9 victory in the Sweet 16 on May 11, 2013.

National Rankings: The Diplomats occupy the No. 9 position entering the second week of the season. Gettysburg (No. 4) is the only other Centennial Conference (CC) team in the top 20.

Milestone Watch: With a pair of draw controls last week, Vanessa Budd moved into 10th in program history with 95 in her career, just five shy of the century mark. 

With 70 starts, Sarah Bozzo is tied for ninth in program history. Caroline Doran '16 holds the record with 89.

Last Week: Washington & Lee defeated F&M 9-3 on Saturday afternoon in the Diplomats' season opener. The Generals scored three goals early in the second half to take a 7-2 lead, eventually earning the decision despite F&M owning an 11-3 advantage in draws and completing 16-of-17 clear attempts.

Last Time We Met York: Paige Moriarty's goal with 5:07 left in the game proved to be the difference as No. 3 F&M defeated No. 8 York 9-8 on Feb. 25, 2016.

Moriarty finished with three goals and an assist while Claire Jackson and Katie Groenke each scored twice. Gabby Frank and Maddie Hughes both tallied a goal, and Grace Saliba finished with two helpers.

Samantha Blicht caused three turnovers and collected three ground balls while Bozzo, Doran, Stephanie Speese, and Madison Valerio all scooped up two ground balls each. Danielle Harrington picked up the win in net with five saves.
