F&M Competes at Dickinson Tri-Match


CARLISLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's women's golf team took on a pair of Centennial Conference competitors at Saturday's Dickinson Tri-Match in Carlisle. The Diplomats totaled 369 strokes to place third in the team score behind Gettysburg (331) and Dickinson (337).

Holly Rittmaster paced F&M's scorers with an eighth-place showing out of 17 competitors at the par-72, 5,827-yard Carlisle Barracks Golf Course. Jamila Gowdy was 10th after carding a 92, followed by Maddy Markmann-Porch (94), Lauren Chen (95) and Ember Toth (101), 

Gettysburg's Hannah Fireman won individual honors after shooting a low round of 75, followed by Dickinson's Hannah Heiring (79) and teammate Olivia Brown (81). 

The Diplomats host Elizabethtown tomorrow at Overlook Golf Course in Lancaster.
