Browne Places Fourth to Earn All-CC Honors

STEVENS, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall freshman Anelise Browne carded a 165 total (85-80) to secure fourth-place, and All-Centennial Conference (CC) honors at Sunday's final round of the 2017 CC Women's Golf Championship at Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens.

Browne shaved five strokes off her day one total to shoot the fourth-lowest score of the round out of 32 competitors at the Par-72, 5,801-yard course. The accomplishment marked the third-straight year the Diplomats placed a golfer in the top five to earn All-CC accolades. She was just three strokes shy of All-CC Rookie of the year honors. 

F&M placed sixth out of seven teams with an 830 total (411-419) through two days. Gettysburg garnered its seventh consecutive CC Title with a 638 total (327-311), followed by McDaniel in second (709) and Dickinson in third (710).

Gettysburg's Sarah Hansen won her second-straight individual title with a tournament record 150 (75-75), while teammates Samantha Sessa (81-79) and Hannah Fireman (86-76) rounded out the top three. 

Ember Toth placed 27th with a 211 total (101-110). Megan Whittier finished with a 217 (102-115) while Harriet Waldron knocked nine strokes off her day one total to card a 237 (123-114).
