ELVERSON, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Anelise Browne registered her second-straight third-place showing after carding a 77 at the Ursinus Spring Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.

The Diplomats did not meet the minimum number of four golfers needed to qualify for the team score at the Par-70, 5,886-yard Stonewall-North Course in Elverson. Browne finished just one stroke behind the co-leaders in Alvernia's Emily Gilbert and Muhlenberg's Kat Hodges who both totaled a 76. Last Saturday, Browne also placed third at the Dickinson Tri-match after shooting an 87.
Ember Toth and Megan Whittier each shot a 107 on the day to tie for 17th out of 26 competitors. Eight institutions were represented at the invite, with Muhlenberg placing first with a 345 total. Alvernia was second (381), followed by Susquehanna (417) to round out the top three.
F&M continues the spring portion of its season on Saturday by traveling to the Lebanon Valley Invitational, beginning at 12:30 p.m.
