HARRISBURG, Pa. – Kathleen Smith carded an 83 to tie for third and lead Franklin & Marshall's women's golf team to a fourth-place showing after day one of the Centennial Conference (CC) Championship at Blue Ridge Country Club in Harrisburg.
Gettysburg is out in front with 332 total strokes, followed by McDaniel in second (351), Dickinson in third (352) and the Diplomats in fourth (381), while Muhlenberg rounds out the top five (396). The Bullets' Samantha Sessa leads all golfers after tallying an 80 at the Par-72, 5,865-yard course.
Lauren Caffee and Bridget Falcone shot the next-lowest scores for F&M, both registering a 98 on the day to tie for 17th out of 34 competitors. Ann Hagner rounded out the Diplomats at the event with a 102.
