LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall field hockey's Erin Coverdale and Ilianna Santangelo were named to the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-America Team and Synapse Sports All-America Team this week. Coverdale received First Team distinction on each list for the second year in a row and Santangelo was named to the Second Team for both squads for the first time in her career.

The honors make the duo the 34th and 35th players in program history to earn All-America status and marks the eighth consecutive season that the Diplomats had at least one player named an All-American.

Coverdale (Lewes, Del. / Cape Henlopen) earned her fourth postseason distinction after being named to the All-Region First Team, as well as the Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and earned All-CC First Team honors. The junior led the Conference in points (44), goals (18) and tied for second with six assists.

Santangelo (Sudbury, Mass. / Saint Marks) garnered her third postseason accolade after earning All-Region recognition for the first time after being named to the All-CC First Team earlier this season. The senior goalkeeper finished the year fourth in the country in goals against average (0.53) and fifth in save percentage (.851). Santangelo ended her career as the program record-holder in wins (63) and shutouts (32).

The Diplomats delivered another successful season, finishing with a 17-4, 9-1 CC record and making the program's 12th NCAA Tournament berth and fifth-straight Sweet 16 appearance.
