Series History: Franklin & Marshall is on the road all week, first looking to continue a five-game winning streak against Eastern. The Diplomats then open Centennial Conference (CC) action against Muhlenberg, with F&M holding a 20-6-1 record since 1993.

Last Game Against Eastern: F&M delivered a 5-0 romping of the Eagles on Sept. 13 last season. Erin Coverdale netted two goals, with Emily Nagle, Annie Horsley, and Paige Notarianni notching one each.

Last Game Against Muhlenberg: A hat-trick from Coverdale lifted F&M 3-0 over Muhlenberg on Sept. 16, 2017.

Last Week: F&M continued its winning streak, finishing the week 4-0 after blanking FDU-Florham 1-0 before delivering their fourth-straight shutout against Mary Washington.

Against the Devils, Melissa Gula found the back of the cage in the 19th minute off a pass from Emma Durantine an F&M penalty corner.

Coverdale and Katie O'Loughlin posted F&M's two goals in the second half to give the Diplomats the 2-0 victory against the Eagles.

In the Rankings: The Diplomats currently rank No. 5 in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Poll. Reigning Champion, Middlebury, sits at No. 1, followed by Messiah, TCNJ, and Babson.

Shutout Streak: The Centennial Conference record for consecutive shutouts is five and has been accomplished by F&M teams in 2016, 2015, and 2014. 

Among the Leaders (NCAA): After not allowing any goals in 286:04 minutes, F&M is tied for first across all Division III teams in goals-against average, save percentage, and shutouts per game.

Among the Leaders (CC): Coverdale currently leads all CC players with eight points and four goals on the year while both Emily Nagle and Durantine are tied for first with two assists. Santangelo leads the Conference in save percentage, goals against, and goals-against average. 

Milestone Watch: With four wins on the year, Santangelo is tied for first in program history with 50 wins. The senior also ranks third in shutouts with 25, while Laura Cianciulli '82 leads with 30.
