F&M Earns Team and Individual Academic Honors

Complete 2017-18 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA National Academic Squad

LANCASTER, Pa. – Ten Franklin & Marshall field hockey players landed on the 2017-18 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA National Academic Squad, announced Thursday by the NFHCA. The Diplomats also received the National Academic Team Award, earned by teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The National Academic Squad recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a GPA of 3.30 or higher through the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

Sarah Schannauer and Emily Nagle earned the honor for the third time, while Nicole Bodo, Caitlin Morrissey, Claire Murphy, and Katie O'Loughlin all earned the award for the second time. Emma Durantine, Colleen Francis, Ashley Gubernick, and Christina Seery were all named for the first time.

F&M has now earned team honors from the NFHCA for six consecutive years, posting a team GPA of 3.30 during the 2017 fall term.
