Series History: F&M (9-2, 6-0 CC) hosts Gettysburg on Wednesday to continue the bulk of conference play. In a close series, the Diplomats have a slight advantage on a 26-21-3 record, with an active six game winning-streak.

The Diplomats then head to Washington on Sunday for more CC action. F&M owns the edge in the series 13-11.

Last Game Against Gettysburg: Last season, the Diplomats traveled to Gettysburg on Oct. 25 to tally the 4-1 victory.

Erin Coverdale recorded a hat trick in the first half of play, with her first goal coming just three minutes into the start of the contest. Coverdale's next two goals came in the 15th and 33rd minutes of play, the last one off an assist from Sarah Schannauer. Melanie Consiglio tallied the final goal of the day for the Diplomats in the 47th minute.

Last Game Against Washington: The Diplomats hosted Washington on Oct. 22, 2016, for a 2-0 victory on Senior Day.

Melanie Consiglio scored the first goal of the day off a one-time Coverdale pass in the 27th minute. Colleen Francis sent a long cross into the middle and Emily Nagle was able to find the back of the cage in the 60th minute to extend the lead 2-0.

Last Week: F&M started the week with a decisive victory over McDaniel 6-1 on Wednesday. Nagle tallied her first hat trick with three other Diplomats scoring on the day.

On Saturday, Sydney Cole led the team with an overtime goal to beat Ursinus 3-2 and set a new program record for game-winning goals. Cole tallied two goals on the day with Coverdale also getting on the board.

In the Rankings: F&M moved up to No. 13 in this week's NFHCA national coaches poll, while Messiah remains in the top spot. The Diplomats are the only ranked CC team.

CC Player of the Week: Cole and Ilianna Santangelo were named the Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, Cole received this honor for the second time in her career, and Santangelo for the third.

Among CC Leaders: Coverdale maintains the lead among other CC players with 14 goals; she also leads the way with 32 points. Cole's three goals this week now places her at third with nine on the year. Cole's five assists so far are good to tie for second.

Among the Leaders (NCAA): As a team, F&M ranks fourth among all DIII institutions in shutouts per game, blanking their opponents in 55% of contests. Goalkeeper Santangelo also ranks 10th in both goals against average (0.80) and save percentage (.849).

Cole Leads Game-Winners: With a 76th-minute game-winner against Ursinus on Oct. 7, Cole moved into first place for career game-winners with 14. She passed Becky Wilert '12.

Milestone Watch: Cole ranks 11th in career goals (34). She is also 12th in career points (87). Coverdale now breaks the top-25 in career points, coming in at 21st with 53. Brittany Croll '06 leads the category with 127. Coverdale also comes in tied for 17th with 23 career goals, needed one more to tie for 16th. Cole has 19 assists to tie her for sixth, while Annie Horsley has 15 to tie for 12th. Eileen O'Reilly '11 leads this category with 35. 

Tallying three defensive saves in 2017, Schannauer now ranks second (13), with Steph McDonald '13 leading the category at 16. Santangelo entrenched her second place spot with 38 wins and now ranks fourth in shutouts with 18, while Laura Cianciulli '82 leads with 30.
