Franklin & Marshall returns home this week for a pair of Centennial Conference (CC) competitions, welcoming McDaniel on Wednesday and Bryn Mawr on Saturday to celebrate Homecoming.

Series History: F&M leads the all-time series against the Green Terror by a 25-14-1 mark, including wins in six straight. Last season, the Diplomats were dominant on the road, handing McDaniel a 4-1 defeat on Oct. 1.

The all-time series with Bryn Mawr has been a lopsided one, with the Diplomats a perfect 20-0-2 against the Owls. On Sept. 17 of last season, F&M overwhelmed Bryn Mawr by a 10-0 score that saw goals from eight different Diplomats.

Last Week: Despite opening action on Wednesday with a disappointing 3-1 loss to Messiah, the Diplomats emphatically responded with a 2-0 blanking of No. 7 Ursinus on Saturday, their first over the Bears since 2013.

Against the Falcons, F&M fell behind in the first half and trailed throughout. Sydney Cole tallied the Diplomats' lone score in the 57th minute to pull within one, however Messiah answered with the decisive goal in the 61st. The shot count was in F&M's favor by a 9-7 margin, as well as penalty corners at 7-2.

On the road Saturday against the Bears, goals from Maria Guarisco and Sarah Schannauer, as well as a career-high five saves from goalkeeper Ilianna Santangelo drove the No. 6 Diplomats to a key 2-0 shutout of Centennial Conference (CC) rival Ursinus, the nation's No. 7 team.

Shots belonged to Ursinus at 13-9 and penalty corners by a 13-5 margin. Audrey Buckman, Melanie Consiglio and Guarisco all notched a pair of shots, while the Bears' Megan Keenan recorded five shots, with only a pair reaching Santangelo.

Among the Leaders (NCAA): F&M's offense has made its way into the national statistic rankings after its strong start to the season. The Diplomats rank 27th among all DIII teams in goals per game average (3.29) and 13th in penalty corners per game (13.29). Individually, Guarisco places 26th with a 2.57 points per game average and 25th in goals per game at 1.14.

Among the Leaders (CC): Guarisco also finds her name atop the conference scoring leaders, ranking third in points (20) and second in both goals (9), and shots (45). Santangelo's 0.81 goals against average is good for third in the CC.

Moving up the Charts: With 10 game-winning goals in her career, Guarisco is second on the program's all-time list. Becky Willert '11 holds the record at 13. Guarisco is closing in on the program's all-time assists record, currently placing second with 24.  Eileen O'Reilly '10 leads the way with 35.  The senior forward continues her ascent up the program's scoring list and is now sixth in goals with 41 and fifth in points with 106 in her career.

Lauren Eastman's name is also among the program's leaders, placing 25th in career goals (17) and fifth in game-winning goals (6), while Cole's five game-winning scores place her in 11th.
