Complete CRCA Scholar-Athlete List

LANCASTER, Pa. – Eight members of the Franklin & Marshall women's rowing team earned a place on the 2018 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athlete list. Teresa Chappell and Leah Issokson garnered the distinction for the third consecutive year, Helen Nelson and Margaret Stoner landed on the list for the second straight season, while Paige Alexander, Dori Coplan, Sarah Labovitz, and Rebecca McCain all received the accolade for the first time.

To earn scholar-athlete recognition, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher for their career, rowed in a minimum of 75 percent of the team's spring races and be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility.

The eight Diplomats continue to be recognized for their work inside the classroom as each was also named MARC Academic All-Conference in April.

F&M enjoyed another banner year in 2018, receiving votes in the national poll for the third straight season while also placing in the top-three at the MARC Championships for the third year in a row.
