Trio of Diplomats Named CRCA Scholar-Athletes

Complete Scholar-Athlete List

LANCASTER, Pa. – Three members of the Franklin & Marshall women's rowing team earned a spot on the 2016 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athlete list. Allison Hoffmann garnered the distinction for the second consecutive year while Leah Issokson and Teresa Chappell were honored for the first time.

To earn scholar-athlete recognition, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher for their career, rowed in a minimum of 75 percent of the team's spring races and be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility.

The Diplomats' trio of student-athletes continues to be recognized for their work inside the classroom as each was also named MARC Academic All-Conference earlier in the month.

F&M secured the program's highest-ever finish at the 2016 MARC Championships with a second-place showing out of five teams after accumulating 35 points on the day.
