    Franklin & Marshall placed third at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Women's Championship on Saturday at Gifford Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry, Pa. The Diplomats tallied 27 points to take third, behind only first-place Marietta (37) and Washington College (32).

    Franklin & Marshall women’s rowing competed in the Donahue Cup on Saturday morning hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The Diplomats had two boats competing in the Varsity 8+ events, with F&M claiming fourth in the first race.

    Franklin & Marshall women’s rowing hosted the 2012 Neuweiler Plate Regatta today at Gifford Pinchot State Park. This is the fourth year the Diplomats have participated in the regatta and the second consecutive year that F&M has hosted it. This year’s races involved nine teams, Lafayette, Lehigh, Penn State, Mercyhurst, Philadelphia University, Robert Morris University, Rutgers-Camden and Villanova.

  • Rowing Competes at Head of the Schuylkill

    Six F&M crews entered the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta yesterday in Philadelphia, braving near freezing temperatures, gusty winds, and a messy wintry precipitation mix. The HOSR is one of the largest head-of-the-river races in the country, with some 5,800 athletes competing over the 2.5 mile course on the lower Schuylkill River.
  • Rowing Competes at Occoquan Chase

    The Franklin & Marshall women's varsity rowing team competed in the Occoquan Chase in Virginia on Sunday. The 8+ (Danielle Tunkel - cox, Molly Hack, Maggie Provencher, Kate Keane, Allison Ercolano, Seymone Killins, Haley Post, Katie Winfree, Emma Cedar) placed 10th out of 14, completing the 4.8 km course in 17:56.71, 0.25 seconds behind conference rivals Washington College. George Mason University won the event in 16:07.4.
